Gerber77
I posted this in the General Discussion but does anybody treat their frag tanks with this. I am wondering how well it works. Link to comment
sephroth_r1
I wouldnt... It seems like a gimick. Plus, why use freeze dried? I tried freezedride cyclo-pleez one time, and it sucked! Good ol kalkwasser, and the right foods. Link to comment
icenine
I tried this stuff (free sample) and was not really impressed, nothing in the tank seemed to be either. Link to comment

Coral Frenzy
Hi guys, I just wanted to update all of you on our product. The samples that you had previously received was of our "old" formula. It was heavy on the phytoplankton side. The new formula we have dropped some of the phyto and added more zooplankton in the form of salmon roe and oyster larvae. Also most of our ingredients are not freeze dried but spray or drum dried. The purpose of our product is for those people that do not want to have 10 different foods in their fridge and under the tank but one easy to feed food source for their corals. Overall many people on other boards have really liked the new formula. Happy Reefing Link to comment
Six
i think if i put it in my surge tank it would spray is like real food, but if you dont have that, does it float? i think ive used a free sample but now am not so sure... Link to comment
sephroth_r1
My bottom line, If its dry, it floats. Until it rehydrates and evens the bouyancy. Does a dry leaf float? does a wet leaf float? No offence man, I just like food t hat doesnt hit my overflow imeediatly, or make the top look like a macro tanks film. Link to comment

If you drench it--it should stay suspended. I haven't ever used this product--but I wouldn't hesitate because of those issues. I turn usually turn off most of my pumps for hours when I feed. Six
ohhh, i used golden pearls and had this floating issue. who wants to soak the food? BAH! Link to comment
Coral Frenzy
ohhh, i used golden pearls and had this floating issue. who wants to soak the food? BAH! It takes about just as long to mix some golden pearls or coral frenzy with water as it does to thaw out frozen food to feed your tank. The dry form is more for a convenience factor.
