Uploadead
OK I think I have decided on a species to keep if it will host clownfish- thats what I don't know. They seem to sell well on eBay so there must be something about them that people want. Can anyone tell me if they do host? Its just that I asked the seller but he hasn't responded yet. Do you guys know? Thanks! Link to comment
Jamie
Snakelocks are coldwater anemones. So, to answer your question, no they will not host a clown. Link to comment
Uploadead
Check this link though: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Snakelock-Anemone-Ma...1QQcmdZViewItem Is it a cheap scam? Link to comment
Jamie
well, the temperature thing is definately BS, 32 celsius is around 90 fahrenheit. those don't look like any snakelock anemones I have seen, but I haven't seen many so I'm not too sure. Link to comment
Carinya
2-32*C that's a good one. It doesn't look like a scam per se to me but i'd be you anything that's not going to host ANY kind of clown. Link to comment
Gerber77
You could to a torch coral and the clowns will host that. Link to comment
Uploadead
Stuff it then again LOL. Ill buy one when I set up my temperate reef in summer. Link to comment
smithcreek
Heck, there's anemones in Boston Harbor that live from 2-20something degrees, don't want one in my tank though and I'll bet my clowns would agree. Link to comment
Uploadead
would the clowns become nibbles? Link to comment
CGNano
Yes, it'd most likely eat the clowns. Link to comment
Uploadead
OK im not getting an anemone thats for sure. If I set up a 180 litre juwel tank, used metal halide ect will that be suitable for a BTA / carpet anemone? Link to comment
CGNano
BTA are fairly easy to keep, so i'm pretty sure you'd be fine. Link to comment
