Heres what im planning on getting. Ebo 50 w heater. 2- Mini jet power head ( what size?) Salinity tester. ( need advice) Instant ocean salt water tester ( need advice ) Im planning on using the stock filter and do 1-2 gallons weekly water changes.. Lighting still havent decided.. power compacts im guessing.. Ilike the Mh light look. Link to comment
Christopher Marks Posted April 12, 2003 Share Posted April 12, 2003 If you're doing a fish only tank, there's no real need to upgrade the lighting. Just get a 13w smartlight bulb to replace the bulb that comes stock. Two mini-jet 404's should do. A thermometer and hydrometer combo would be the best way to test your salinity (it's glass and floats at the surface), but if that's not available, a swing arm box one will work ok. Link to comment
