zizmans
Just a quick heads up to newbies who are on a tight budget. (or even if you're not, hey it's a good deal) Went to Half Priced Books today on a whim. Checked out the Pets section they had a ton (ton=about 50) of Saltreef books. Sure some were circa 1975, but most weren't. Had a lot of recent stuff and some good identification manuals (we're talking highest price like $8). If you have a used book store in your area check it out, couldn't hurt to do before you drop down $30 + at an LFS. Unless you're in my area than nevermind, those are mine!kiddingLOL Link to comment
Satchmo
There's this Shangri-La of a used bookstore in NYC called The Strand. World's biggest used bookstore. Despite the Luciferian heat inside the damn place, it's the shiznit. Can't pass it without stopping in. Apparently, neither can other reefers because I've yet to find a worthwhile reefing book there. bobioden
On Corals I just bought: Aquarium Corals - Selection, Husbandry and Natural History by Eric H. Borneman and Corals - A Quick Reverence Guide by Julian Sprung I got them both at Amazon.com, but I have also seen them on Ebay. Both are excellent books IMO Link to comment
Satchmo
Borneman's book is awesome. Best coral reference I've seen. Link to comment
