robertmun
Okay, finally up and running. My new 20g flat back hex. No corals or fish yet, just LR, LS and clean up crew. Thanks for any feedback. Link to comment
Cyber
Hello, Nice tank. Love the curves. By the way, yours is acrylic right? If so then you should careful about using that type of magnetic cleaner. That brand has 2 types, one for glass and one for acrylic. The grey one is for glass, the light blue is for acrylic. I have both at home that why I know it can mess up your acrylic tank really bad. You can't tell until you remove the water. Cyber Link to comment
robertmun
Hmmmm. Thanks. I told the guy at the LFS it was for acrylic. Yeah, I like the curves. It's nice because it allows for good views in the corners, but takes away a bit from the front views. Link to comment
stonepran
Robert, did you do the canopy DYI? I'd love to see some shots of the canopy opened up.. did you attach the canopy to the tank via hinged system? I'm guessing a retro kit under? cya Link to comment
robertmun
Hi Stonepran, No, I ordered it from my LFS. It is hinged with an open back and yes, a 2x55 retro kit inside. Was about $90...I didn't have the tools to do angled cuts, etc, so this was a good buy for me. I'll take some pics and post. Robert Link to comment
