Violent-d
So I noticed the other day that he has this discoloration behind one of his gills and its got nearly a matching one on the other side now but its down lower to his pectoral fins. I really have no idea what it is. I havent seen any obvious changes in behavior. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment
JG
I don't think it is ick; I have something similar on my clown. It is only on one side though, it is a small white patch. at first I thought it was the start of Brooklynella; she also had a stringy poop. But it has gotten better over the past few days. And she is still eating. If yours is symmetric and on both sides it would probably not be a parasite or fungus. I also found this Hyper-Melaninization http://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=127010 Link to comment
