FiShTaNk
So tonight I picked up a piece of live rock with two mushrooms....after putting it in the tank I noticed a centipede looking worm....I don't have a photo on hand at this time but it was pink with white/lighter colored legs I guess you would say. It was moving between to holes. I would say it is about and inch long but very small in diameter. Just wondering if anyone could take a guess if it would eventually harm anything in my tank? Eole00
Sounds like a bristleworm. Most common one in aquariums is eurythoe sp. just do a search for it in Google or something. Most people don’t like fireworms but they're great scavengers... in my self sustaining tank, those guys are my cleanup crew. Link to comment

Uploadead
make sure its not an eucnid worm, they can nip at shrimps and destroy sponges in their search for amphipod colonies. bristleworms tend to be nice but now you should remember to wear rubber glowves when handling your LR Link to comment
