does anyone use supliments for their anemone to keep them healthy or just good current, light and feeding?

I think the most important things are lighting, and making sure the nitrates are low. I have never used supplements and my bubble tip is 3 x larger than when I bought it. I feed it once a week with frozen fish or frozen ocean plankton.

The current is important for some type, but as long as you have some current the anemone will move to where it is happy. I recently had to replace my actinic tube because it had dulled a bit too much and the anemone was stretching up toward the light and the tenticles were all long and thin.

I do use water I collected from the ocean for my water changes. Im not sure if that makes a difference.
