Blue Linckia Star

So this guy brought the blue linckia star that is about 4 inches across into my LFS because he was breaking down his takn due to failures and deaths. Apparently his no3 was like over 50.

Anyway this star was one of the survivors out of this tank, and is actually healthy. I took it home because two of its arms were short(but growing back, not open wounds) and they didnt think anyone else would buy it.

I have it in my 37 gal reef. I have never kept a blue linckia, but I have several other red color linckias that came as hitch hickers in another tank. They have been doing great for over a year. I have heard they are difficult to keep, I keep my water clean, and monitor my tank closley. How difficult are they as long as you have a clue as to what you are doing?

Does anhyone have one?...any advice on feeding, due to its larger size I figured it should be fed. I am guessing small peices of shrimp/fish around its mouth when it is on the glass?

TIA

Billy
