irishtexan
I have this little Aquatic Garden 1G kit. The light it came with is only 7W so I want to upgrade it to something better. My tank has been setup for about a week. It has some pulsing xenia, and GSP. The demensions are 9in long by 5in wide by 7in high. I was wondering if this light would fit it? Link I am just looking to see what everyone else had done. Thanks! texx Link to comment
adam1121
Yeah it will...but those lights get really hot and im sure that on a tank your size it would heat the water quite a bit. Link to comment
irishtexan
Oh ok thanks! Is there any other lighting options? texx Link to comment
Seanfg89
I use them for my 2.5 picos. They do get really hot but I just unplug my heater during the day and it keeps the temp around 78 degrees F. I would highly recommend them but if you're worried about heat issues I would just elevate if off the top of the tank. LEGOs work perfectly for this since they're cheap, small, easy to use, and they don't absorb any of the heat. Link to comment
irishtexan
Ok cool. Thanks Sean. Does anyone think that the 7W light it came with is enough light for this 1g tank? Thanks! texx Link to comment
