Keaton Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 I just got a free pico!!! it is approx 3 1/2 gallons with an approx. 1/2 g fuge in the back. it is acrylic, and it came with a 40 watt 50/50 pc. & a red sea nano filter!! Any stocking suggestistions? a fish/ no fish, shrimp? coral? zoas, shrooms, frog spawn, leathers? Any ideas??? Link to comment

Any ideas??? thats a whole lot of light your playing with there at over 10w per gallon... no fish... shrimp maybe soft corals fo sho... I'm not sure abou the rest... Link to comment

rickjg Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 Check out the picos in last years pico contest to get some good ideas on setups & what corals & livestock you can keep. IMO smaller corals look better in smaller tanks, so zoas would be a good choice. Of course smaller fish & shrimp are a must. The amount of light you have should work well as long as the water temps are stable. Link to comment
