UKNanoNoob
Hi All, I have built up the courage and im going to concentrate most of my effort on designing and maintaining a pico. I would like as much info as possible on these facinating tanks. I understand that there is plenty of info already on this site and im going to read through as much as i possibly can but would like to hear from you all first. I would like to know what sort of heaters you guys use? how you produce water movement in such a small volume of water? lighting? what corals can be kept? SPS maybe! Also apart from water fluctuations what other problems have i got to face? Also would like to hear of any mods you wished you had of done on your current tank to make it that bit better. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
aqua_aaron
heat- just the physically smallest heater at lfs, 50 watts (l have a 2.5g) light- l have two 20 watt coralife 50/50 screw in's and a 14 watt 6500K screw in in a pico the salinity can fluctuate greatly; daily top off is a must. an nice hob will provide plenty of flow and possibly enough room to consider making it a fuge.
