Crab Problem Please help

2 days ago at night I spotted a hairy rock crab about 1" in dia. I tried to get him out with a pair of tweezers. I almost had him but all I got was his arm. Since then my fire fish keep coming up missing and I fear my goby is next. Ever since i tried to get him out the other night, i cannot find him. Should i go as far as pulling my rocks to find him? My tank is only a few months old, so every thing is not that established. Should I try to bait him, it doesn't come out when i feed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

u could bait him with the pop bottle trap or take a bamboo skewer with a sharp point and spear him.

If you cannot trap him, Try and get a hold of his other arm and snap that off. Sooner or later he will starve to death.

Tonight I beat that mother @#$%er up a little more. I tore off four legs trying to get him. I hope this kills the little B.

Even if i think i got a little of his body too. all of the leg were attached with a little bit of his side. Will him claws grow back?

I got a serpent star today. I heard this might do the trick, because he is injured. Does anyone think this will work. From what i under stand it shouldn't go after my fish.

I doubt it. Try baiting it with a little meaty food in a shot glass placed against the lr. The serpent could eat sleeping fish.

just wanna say i think thats rather cruel letting him die a slow death you should of baited him out.
