tim4072
i just got a pistol from my lfs. i know it is not a caribbean, but how do i tell if it is a tiger or randall's? anyways, what choices of gobies do i have so that they "bond"? thanks. Link to comment

reefdan
my tiger pistol and aurora goby paired within an hour of being in the same 24g tank. my LFS says tigers are universal, i don't know if that's true but it was easy for me. the goby was in the tank a week before i brought home the shrimp Link to comment

I heard you have to have the Pistol in the tank first to dig the hole or the goby wont play along... Link to comment

shrinky
i put my tiger pistol shrimp in my tank for a week or so, then dropped in a brand new yellow watchman - it literally took less than 5 minutes for them to buddy up Link to comment
