Pinner Reef Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Should I be worried that I've had my Pistol Shrimp for a few months and have still not seen it molt yet? How Often do they molt? I may have just missed it and the clean up crew ate the shell. I'd expect to see some sign of the leftovers. All my Parameters are on as far as I know... (don't have an Iodine Test kit but was headed to lfs tomorrow for full array). Lemme me know your thoghts. Thanks -pinner Link to comment

Pinner Reef Posted January 7, 2007 Author Share Posted January 7, 2007 Hey thanks for the reassurance Clifford. The water tested ok today, Iodine was a bit low (.03PPM). But LFS Chica said it wasn't worth dosing and that it isn't uncommon to go for months or years without seeing a carapace (<-learned that word today too!) Thanks Again! -Pinner Link to comment
