Kilroy Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 I just got my 30g M-tank set up that I got for X-mas and aquascaped it last night. My next step will be to add a cleaning crew and some other inverts when Its cycled. I was wondering how many snails, hermits and what ever else you think would be needed should be added to the tank? I want to get an emerald crap or 2 i think as well. Link to comment

ReefInChicago Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 lol, oops! seriously though ! any advice? i've read so many things about cuc mixes that i'll be honest and say i can't keep them straight. so, i let someone with some alleged experience choose for me and ordered the snail-only (no crabs, no cucumbers, no stars) from bluezoo, and bought the 25g level, figuring i'd add later if needed. i've had snail eggs all over the sides of the tank (you can see them in the pic on my member's thread), and they've done a nice job with the tank so far. i haven't yet had to use a magnet on the sides of the tank, and clean the front just before water changes.
