Bulb replacement cost The Ushio/Hamilton 10K was a little Yellow after 10 months Use. There wasnt enough Room for actinic's and the "blue PC's" dont have the same effect as the .03 actinics. the radiums are too dark on my PFO Tar ballasts and the bulbs were $100 after s/h. I thought I'd Give the Xanium's a chance at $62 What the heck. I'm really happy right now and the bulb has been running for about 100 hours. I was gonna buy the AB 10k as I heard they were Bluer than Ushio/hammilton but they were just as much as the radium's. I gotta say My Deresa and Squamosa really perked up yet my Favites morphed to a orange/tan from a brown/green. They were a free frag from a pal and they were receding in his tank. I have noticed flesh growth on them however I fear they shed thier zooxanthellae. thanks for your comments, Toy Link to comment
