dreadfish Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 today i bought a small 3-4 cm pistol shrimp dull brown in colour, my reef was original bare bottom so when i decided to buy a pistol shrimp i added some mixed sand ranging from gravel down to fine sand, , when released he started build ing a complex burrow under a pieice of rock which i lifted above the sand for that purpose, but just now he abandoned his burrow and wander of into my reef some where, however there is no sand under the reef so will he come back out the build his burrows in the sand or stay in some crevice so that ill never see him again?
