soco
I couldn't believe it, my cleaner shrimp has a bunch of eggs attached to her. I did know that this was possible without a male. So of course I want to run out and get a male shrimp so next time I might get some babys. So my question is how do you tell male from female? Here is a pic. It's not very good but you can kind of see the green from the eggs. Link to comment

Sharpie129
How long have you had it... maybe it was fertilized at the LFS if you just got it... Link to comment
soco
that is the weird thing. I've probably had it for about 6-8 months. Link to comment
Jamie
Cleaner shrimp are hermaphrodites. They make eggs by themselves, but need another to fertilize them. Just get another cleaner shrimp and they should both end up with fertile eggs. The hard part is raising the babys. Link to comment
