Fish in a 2.5?

Recommended Posts

Yes, you can keep a fish in a 2.5. If you were to go the Clown route, it should be a small clown I would hope. You could probably keep a baby osc. for up to a year in a 2.5 before it would outgrow and need to be moved. Some fish, such as green banded goby, red headed goby, and neon goby will stay small and can be kept indefinately. Some fish however, regardless of size should not even be attempted to be kept in a 2.5. Research the fish and take it from there.
