I know that it likes high water flow and it has shown up in areas of direct and rather strong current. I am only questioning if it is in fact maiden's hair because there are a few patches of it that are red in color which I have never seen or heard of. I am pretty sure it is all maiden's hair and not hair algae, trust me I have seen plenty of that in my short time reefing. So is it possible for maiden's hair to just appear after a few months and does it have any red morphs, or is it something else? Thanks! Pete Link to comment
