ckumlien
I would like to enjoy a nano tank in my bedroom and have the stability of the water in my main reef. Trouble is, my main reef is 50 feet over and 15 feet down from my proposed nano location. I was thinking about using a litremeter 3 w/ two dosing pumps. I am going to do this unless someone else has already done it. Anyone know of a way? The drain cannot be gravity fed. Link to comment

neanderthalman
Why can't the drain be gravity fed? The main tank is lower than your pico, correct? Link to comment
sandiegan
Why can't the drain be gravity fed? The main tank is lower than your pico, correct? I'll second this. I'd say just make a gravity drain using an overflow in the nano somehow and following the plumbing for that with tubing that you can pump water up with. Not sure what size pump you'd need, but that'd be the simplest way. Link to comment
