WHich foster smith light?

Want more light for my 3G pico.

 

Some say buy one of these:

and get Coralife 20W 50/50 screw in bulb

 

Anything else would you recomend? Maybe something different all together? Not looking to spend $40 on the nice one from nano-tuners right now.

 

Tank is going to host 'Shrooms, Polyps and 2 or 2 LPS.

Maybe I misunderstand the question, but a screw in bulb will not fit those lights. You can get a AGA or Perfecto 12" incandesant fixture for less than $10.00 and put a Coralife 20w 50/50 in it. http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...967266&Ne=2

This is the same light as above, rebranded as Catfish Lighting (its still Jebo), a little cheaper after shipping, and it DOES come with a warranty.

For less money I can get the one from aquatraders, which is basically the same light.

Yes I saw the warning. Yes I do take note of such things. Yes I do more reseach before buying. Yes I know Hobby Palace is a distributor of Catfish Lighting Products, and is where I bought mine. And yes I know what a Phishing site is....do you?

 

The 13" 24w 50/50 works quite well over my 2.5 AGA. as did the Perfecto 12" with a Coralife 50/50 before it.

 

No I dont want to scamp you, buy your freaking light where ever you bloody well please.

 

BTFW Catfish Lighting sells the SAME light as AquaTrader, both are made by Jebo. Catfish price is $32.95 including insured shipping. AquaTrader is $22.90 + $12.90 S/H = $35.90. If my math is correct, $32.95 is a little cheaper than $35.90, after shipping.
