YWG/Pistol Pair in 12G Aquapod

i just setup a new 12g Aquapod and have plans to house a YWG and pistol shrimp pair. Can i add any other shrimp? i'll probaly have to pick betwen a skunk or fire red shrimp unless its possible to keep all of the above in a 12. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

I am in the same situation as you with a 10 Gal. According to Blue Zoo Aquatics, the YWG needs about 20 gal, so I personaly am going with a

i had a tiger prawn goby/tiger pistol shrimp pair in my 12JBJ with a skunk cleaner shrimp and now all 3 are in my 40B. I have had them for over a year now with no problems.

hmm..according to liveaquaria they state minimum is 10 gallons. I dont know. im just gonna go with the YWG and if it looks like he doesnt like it in the 12 i'll take him back to the store for something else.

yea thats what i figured. Ive seen the pair with a skunk before in a 12G but just wanted to make sure. i guess i need to figure out of i can add a fire shrimp as well. thanks

Had a fire shrimp in the 12 when i first set it up. My LFS calls them barbie shrimp lol. It was extremly shy and hardley ever came out from under the rocks. Something eventually picked it off and the crabs had a fiest. (Before i added the Pistal shrimp) just my limited experience.
