Did I do something wrong?

Hello all....

 

just got my tank set up yesterday. since it is brandy new and all, and there is nothing in it....i filled it with RO water and the tank/sump. in addition to the return pump, i added a maxi jet 1000 litre/hr PH and a mini-jet 160g/hr ph - for massive current to get the mixing done.

 

here it is - 16 hours later----temp is 79 deg F and i TONSof little white FLAKES swirling around.

 

what is up with that????? Will it go away? should i put my diatom filter on it to remove flakes?

Did you add salt yet or just the water? It's probably from the salt mix id you added it....I've had it happen before and it's not a problem.....it'll disapate but if you happen to have a hangon filter you can slap it on there and filter it out.
