gregbot9000
I currently have a 10g hospital tank that has been under hypo for a month today. In it, I have 2 fairy wrasses that had ich(but no more of course). Ive started raising the salinity today. i did a 100% water change and is at 1.011. Ive been having trouble keeping the ammonia down. The fish were acting weird, i think the ammonia is burning their gills. i noticed there behavior last thursday night(i can post vids if you want). I have done 2 50% water changes between then and now and just did a 100%(as noted above^) I also put in "Prime". ammonia is still at .25. any help? can the fish recover from this? thanx Link to comment
Mickle
It's strange that you get .25 after a 100% water change, maybe your test kit? I would never advise a 100% wc as the difference in the water can cause seriuos stress, but I'm not clued up completly on qt tanks so maybe someone else? Link to comment
gregbot9000
i bought i new test kit and im reading 0ppm now for ammonia. they act so weird some times, then the other times they look perfectly fine.. i guess ill just see what happens. they been alive for 3 days since i noticed symptoms. i just hope they live = ( Link to comment
