electric blue juvenile hermit?

Well i bought a couple of hermits yesterday at the LFS, that were sold as blue legged hermits.

 

However they are not that very blue, the smallest one has some very light blue on his torso and on his legs, but not very strong blue.

His claws have a pattern that seems to resemble that of electric blue hermits, but his legs dont have the striped pattern that ive seen on pictures. is it something that has to do with age? is it a electric blue and will his legs become striped later on as he grows older? or is this another species?

Halloween Hermits have been known to be mistaken for electric blues.

no it looks nothing like a Haloween, it was sold as a blue legged. but the claw pattern and antane colors match. the only thing that dosent match is that the legs are more solid color and not striped.

There's a type of halloween that looks just like electric blues, with orange replacing the blue but they're pretty hard to find.

Sounds to me like you've got DBL's.

yeah im beginning to think so too, the colors are starting to show better now
