question about return size for closed loop

Just making sure on this because it could be costly, but I'm drilling a 7.5 gallon nano for a closed loop with a mag5 and SCWD, and I'm drilling 3/4" for the main outlet in the back center, but then for the 2 return holes on the top of the tank towards the sides, I want 1/2" holes right? I plan on using lockline tubing for the returns. Thanks a lot.

Make em small and you can always route them out bigger with a dremel and diamond bit. I think 1/2" should do though.

If your going to use a 1/2" bulkhead for 1/2" pipe youll need to dril a 1 and 1/8" hole. Iv never used lockline so im not sure what the connections are like.
