i havent posted in awhile and im ready to upgrade my lighting on my big tank. for almost a year i had major green hair algae problems, i mean MAJOR!! i tried almost everything to get rid of it. today i still have remnants of it that grow on the acrylic every 3 to 5 days and ill see spots of green hair on the rocks. my tank is a Clarity Plus 65 gallon 36" wide, 25" tall 18" deep. i have two Current USA power compacts 96W each, i have a few LPS: blue and orange zoas, candycane, ricordia and a green people eater. magdrive 950 in a 15 gal sump. i want to start getting more LPS corals once my lights are upgraded. should i go with one more power compact 96W or use a T5 setup? im not willing to go metal halide because i have a canopy and dont run fans or a chiller. the temps stay at a comfy 80 degrees year round. any input would be welcomed
