I really want to upgrade to a 120 and combine all of my saltwater tanks. I'm leaning towards a reef ready though, but that decision won't be made until right at purchase time. Yours looks good so far.

Wow! This is for sure going to be one svveeet tank bro!

It's got all the bells and whistles too. If I were you I would make this SPS dominated reef. Just seems sooo much nicer, all the colors, and elegant shapes.

Good luck.

thanks for the replies. i like sps but i can't do 100% sps. i went to reefexotics.com(long island) this weekend and tony's 450g sps tank is awesome but i could never go that route. problem is i like LPS just as much.

i ordered my custom overflow from aquarium specialty. great price and great customer service. it will sit in the middle of the back wall.

overflow dimensions:

6" height (including 1" of teeth)

5" wide

10" long

for a while i thought of making an external overflow but i would have to cut the glass on the tank. i don't have the proper tools or time for all that.

i may add a few small pieces of LR on the sides of the rockwork but i'm pretty happy w/ it and will keep it as is.
