BHRay
I have a KH kit (Aquar. Pharm). My 10g tests out at 144. Does this tell me about my Ca level or do I need to get a Ca kit too? If so, which do you recommend? Link to comment
cal3v
Testing calcium is recommended and you need another test for it. Salifert tests are good. Link to comment
Brianc_4
If I check my height, do i need to check my weight?? JK, Yeah You still need to check Ca, if you want to know what it is. I use hagens test kit for ca, its fairly accurate, but there are more exact kits out there for a little more money. Good luck!! I would also recommend reading about kh,Ca, and pH. Learn what they are and how they affect each other. Link to comment
Xwhite
Calcium and Alkalinity are connected at the hip. In order to solve a Calcium problem you have to know about Alkalinity. And in order to solve an Alkalinity problem you have to know about Calcium. The two go hand-in-hand.
