Dave ESPI
ahem.... Vendor trader feedback forum....... THose are all under Actinic lights. What do they look like in color corrected spectrum? Link to comment
TStaut
Dave, I was showing off my new zo's which is perfectly acceptable in this forum IMO. In case you haven't noticed, Logical doesn't really need a whole lot of plugging around here. Matter of fact since he has a lot of fans such as myself, I thought people would be interested in seeing more of his bad-ass zo's. Those weren't taken under actinic but a 17K bulb. They look fantastic in any color but the glow certainly helps them pop. Now get off my ass and go pick on some newbie wondering if he can keep an octopus in his eclipse explorer. TStaut
Sorry Dave, crappy mood taken out on you. You gotta admit, it’s hard to tell w/ you sometimes. I’ve been keeping SW tanks since 1990. I began setting up my nano in October. Travis Link to comment
DeskJockey
uhhhhhh correct me if Im wrong but arent most actinic bulbs labeled 17k? ??? They dont normally flat out label them actinic. Every actinic bulb I own and have ever had is 17k, so could you shoot some pix with the 10k turned on? They do look great though! Link to comment
Dave ESPI
Thanks. Oh and yer Fly is unzippered. Desk Jockey got my sarcasm.....! OMG ! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAH TS, What he says is true... I was double ribbing on you. Lolz... ttyl. Link to comment
TStaut
That's 7100 K I believe. This is 17,000K it's a much whiter blue. I only have one pic of the first big green ones under 10K, I’ll post it when I get home, but you’ll see that the color rendition is the same, the fluroescence just pops better under the 17K. Not as much difference as you think. Link to comment
DeskJockey
yeah your right 7100k, but yours is 17,000k??? And thats a PC? Dave I always get your sarcasm what the hells you talkin bout? Link to comment
TStaut
Info on my 17K bulb here: http://www.reefaquariumguide.com/forums/sh...light=17K%2A%2A It's burned in to a lot more subtlety since those first hours but still a pretty sweet bulb. Link to comment
