Some people aren't into it and thinks it looks messy. But, I love it. Can't wait for my 18 to have that grown-in look. John Link to comment

I do a 1 gallon water change per week and add just a few drops of iodine. I use RO water which I buy from my LFS at .50 a gallon. I take 8 empty milk jugs in, fill them up and they last me 2 weeks. The only other additive I add is this.. Link to comment
Xwhite Posted March 26, 2003 Share Posted March 26, 2003 Hehe nice picture. I'm dosing kalkwasser in my topoff water and dosing B-Ionic. Worked well in my old 55 reef for extreme coralline growth. I hope it works the same in this tank. I'm mostly dosing kalk to raise the pH a bit. It's a little low at 8.0ish. I would like to see it at 8.2-8.4. What's your pH running? John Link to comment
