jbrooks9
I thought my emerald crab went awol but I noticed him out yesterday. Thankfully he was earning his keep. I quickly grabbed my video camera and shot some video of him eating some GBA. Sorry for the quality I had to reduce it to get it on the web. At about 57 seconds you can see where something is released into the tank. Hopefully he will continue to do his job. Video Link to comment
Mr. Fosi
Awsome. Hope it doesn't get too hungry and turn to other, more desirable organisms. Link to comment
jbrooks9
All he does is hide. That is the only time I have really seen him out. Hopefully he will not cause problems. Link to comment
Izzue
Loading slow or not working...still checking Just one question...has anyone thought about the side effects of crab eating the bubble algae...BUT releasing the spores all into your tank??? 0.02 Izzue Link to comment
scarf_ace1981
izzue the spores will be released into the tank but usually the crab keeps up w/ the algae. it's sort of a non ending cycle. crabs eats algae>spores released into tank>new algae gets eaten>spores released..... Link to comment
