traderdan
Hello, I have had a 24 gallon cube up and running for about a month and a half and have all my levels in check, but I can't figure out what the correct levels are supposed to be for alkalinity and calcium. I did a test today and calcium was at 440 and the alkalinity is at 150 mg/l. Are these within the proper parameters? What are the ranges that I should stay in? I've looked at many web sites and get different answers at each one, so I appreciate all the input that I can get. Link to comment

rickjg
Wow you have not made many posts in the last two years, Welcome Back Seriously, I stopped worrying about alkalinity/calcium and just keep up on the evaporation makeup water & regular water changes. You can make things a lot harder than they need to be by constantly making adjustments to the water parameters. Just my opinion - Rick Link to comment
traderdan
Thank you for the fast information. I've been trying to talk my wife into this for two years and I finally won the battle, now if I could only win the war. Link to comment
