Littleoceans Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 Hi, Been out of the hobbie for ten years... but I would like to start a nano tank. I just got a mini bow 7. I would like to keep the heater out of the tank. I will be using a tronic 50 watt or ebo. What can I use that will fit a heater in it? I would of like using a prizm but there is no room for a heater in it.... Maybe a aquaclear 200? ANY suggestings would be helpful. Thanks in advance. David Link to comment
tinyreef Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 it should be able to fit the heater in the output throat of the prizm. that's where i kept mine when i used prizms. it also helps impede some of the errant microbubbles. with the collection cup off, place the heater in the front chamber and let the power cord trail thru the output. you can then fit the collection cup back over. worked very very for me, just had bad motors from red sea for some odd reason. ??? altho any of the AC's will also do (except the mini, altho i use one like that, it's out of display sight) but you lose the filter media chamber pretty much. hth Link to comment
