butaford Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 I know its not a nano but I know a lot of you have larger tanks too. Currently it has a 50/50 and an Actinic blue, both normal output. Thats only about 1.5 watts per gallon. I keep four kinds of shrooms and they all are doing well. Anyway I plan on upgrading to VHOs so I can keep other corals. I was going to use 2 bulbs, that would put me up to 4 watts per gallon. Is that enough to keep most softies, leathers, and LPS? Would putting in 3 or 4 bulbs be too much light? Link to comment
