LEEWINK Posted March 24, 2003 Share Posted March 24, 2003 if the aqua .... one is the same as ive seen here, is it the one with a seperate air driving pump ??? none of the rest !!! seaclone, prism, ehmmm no !!! simple answer, you get what you pay for. always buy a skimmer with two pumps, one for water drive and one for air drive, these are far the superior, to me these are the most important bits of kit to buy, and spending should reflect that. We have here deltec and aqua medic skimmers, which seem the kiddies to buy at the moment, i have a deltec, these are german and seriously high quality, the air driving pump is 38w on its own, and pumps something like 400+ ltr/h of air for the skimmer. I'm not sure wether they're available there, but otherwise just get a skimmer to simply skim well, and not just "blow bubbles". cheers lee :) :) Link to comment
