dla
I got a "Acropora Coral, Purple/Green Tenuis - Aquacultured" a few months ago from the Doctors. It was on a plug and about 1-1/2 long. Well, the Acropora skin I guess you would call it was all over the base of the plug. Now it has grown (little Corpora) and I wanted to frag the tallest one and glue it onto another live rock. I can't take the Acropora out of the tank because the skin from the plug has attached it self to a big rock and I would like it to spread to it. Would it be ok to frag the Acropora in the tank? I have it right on top. I got a side cutter w/rubber grips from a hardware store. This is my first time doing this. Link to comment

ezcompany
there might be oil in your tool, i would use a clean stainless steel bone cutter / shearer, they are sharper for a more precise and clean cut. Link to comment
