killahbeez2000
hey everyone i just took a sabae clown and two damsels out of a thirty gallon and put all the water from the 30 into a 75 plus some more new salt water. I had instant Ocean salt in the 30 but i had to put reef crystal brand in the 75 to fill it up some more (its only half full right now) Well my clown is always so hardy and looking awesome but this morning he is all on his side not really gasping hard but laying on his side like his fins and stuff are still going so hes not dead. Any ideas? Could it be from mixing salts the water is fine its been tested. Link to comment
Physh1
Is the salinity the same and more importantly was the temperature exactly the same? Any temp changes, especially fast temp changes, will cause some serious stress. How long did you wait before you put the fish into the newly mixed water? Cameron Link to comment
