The amount of rock and coral that you have put in your tank that is pleasing to the eye is amazing. Tell us about yourself and let us know how long have you been doing this? I got hooked on keeping saltwater fish in high school 13yrs ago. In marine biology we had 2 tanks with gulf specimens we would catch on field trips. I've only been doing reefs for about 4yrs and seem to enjoy it more than FO tanks. A bit more expensive but, cheaper in the long run. (my opinion) Hi SLOreefer, here are the specs on both tanks. Tank specs are:10g (2 yrs old) 10g all-glass tank eclipse 1 hood w/twin bulbs Rio 80 ph 1 50/50 15w- 1 actinic 03 15w cal- 500 alk- 4.0 meq/L salinity-1.026 As for PH, Nitrites and Nitrates; I haven't checked for over a year and a half. I do water changes every two weeks.
