~_~
I ordered various things from InlandAquatics a few weeks ago. They were very helpfull in describing things out to me, and I changed my order a few times from there suggestions. I ended up ordering, 1 trochus snail 3 peppermint snails 3 cap/Stomatella snails 5 bristleworms a few red hair worms & a metallic GSP coral. The package arrived well packed with a few heatpacks in there. All the critters were alive and accounted for. I acclimated everything with my usual 3-4 hour long acclimation, and there still doing fine today Those peppermint & cap snails are cool. Wish I would have ordered more of them. I never seen a cap snail before, so it suprised me when it "reached up and grabbed me" Link to comment
DeskJockey
Yeah Inland Aquatics is very helpful Dont worry about not ordering enough of the peppermint and stomatella snails, because they will reproduce like bunnys on viagra! I received 5 of each for my 55g and no joke I have an easy 3 dozen peppermints and a dozen or so stomatella. In a few months check your tank after the lights go out, youll see. Link to comment
Crakeur
funny, I send everyone their way and then I try and place an order and my emails go unanswered for days, they finally get back to me and tell me some of what I wanted isn't in stock so I ask for other things and never hear from them again. Perhaps they are sick of all the business I am sending their way. Link to comment
DeskJockey
Crak- Just call them. Same happened to me! I e-mailed them and days went by. I decided to call, ordered, received my stuff and like a week later got a reply! hahaha I asked the guy over the phone what was up and he said the owner takes care of the e-mail and is always behind. Trust me its much easier to call. Link to comment
Crakeur
well, since I am not going to buy anything now for a while, I'll wait and see. I might order from anthony and get a couple of his really nice looking frags instead. First I need to make some room in the tank. Link to comment
DeskJockey
DO IT!! His stuff is great! Get the Purple polyp robusta! (He has it as S-02) It looks great in person! Link to comment
Crakeur
like I said, I just need to make room first. my tank is in disarray at the moment. Lights are askew thanks to the chiller. My old teclima was supposed to be brought over from a friend but he never showed. If I get that back, I remove the hang on chiller and the lights are back in place and I have more room to work with. Don't want to put the coral in a spot with lower light. Also, his frags look to be mounted on large rocks. I'm used to gluing them to the live rock myself so more room needs to be made for that as well. Link to comment
DeskJockey
Yeah I hear ya The purple robusta dont have huge bases. He just put some putty on the base. But some of the others do have large plugs. Maybe you can chip some away. Link to comment
Crakeur
the one frag I really want has coral growth all over the plug. unfortunately, that plug looks pretty wide. Link to comment
