Izzue Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Sry not the best pic...Had to use flash due to anemone being in a cave behind Fava When I received this Anemone from Fragglereef (tks Miguel..) it was in great shape and all puffed up...noticed the outer layer ring of anemone folded like a pie crust all the way around. After settling for day or so ... all folded out but one fold on the bottom of media on left of where it is pictured now. The anemone was on the right side of pictured now for 5 weeks or so...now it has moved into a cave and the splitting baby is now forming a mouth. Gonna feed tonight a combination of mysis and cyclopeeze and see if baby is eating yet. Notice the outer ring where the moma is still attached - has almost finished seperating Izzue Link to comment
adinsxq Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 i sliced mine in half a few weeks ago... original one is the large one on the right (shown with mini for size and color comparison) here's one of the new halves. it's been accepting food for for about a week now. healing time from a clean cut by my estimate is 2 weeks. notice it still does still have some rounding out to do.
