pico1
Can I replace my filter at this point in the contest? TIA Link to comment
Asin
I believe you might be able to replace it with the same one you started with. As for changes, they needed to be done by the 20th. At least that's what Chris told me when I asked about my powerhead. Link to comment
pico1
crap, I can't stand the surface film. What are my options to get rid of it besides scooping it out by hand? Link to comment
Asin
I have an MJ600 with Hydor FLO and when the rotation hits the surface, it agitates it enough to break the surface and that seems to help me out, I don't have much at all. Maybe point your powerhead up towards the surface and see if that helps. -Asin Link to comment
pico1
Well my powerhead and powerfilter break the surface film but only in the spot around where they hit the water's surface. Link to comment
Asin
What were you thinking of doing? I would shoot a PM to Chris and let him know what you want to do and let him make the decision. Link to comment
pico1
I wanted to either switch to an aquaclear with a surface skimmer attachment or switch out the filter for a tunze nano filter. Link to comment
travisurfer
i guess you could add a surface skimmer Link to comment
Asin
I'm not sure you can add anything else, equipment wise. Have shot CM a PM yet? Link to comment
