since i set my tank back up i have been battling hair algea for about the last 3 months...it was so bad i could scrub the rocks and a week later it was back in full force even covering the sand. so after reading burnahs thread in members tanks i broke down and and bought the bioclean....i was desperate nothing was working i was trying and i couldnt stand looking at it...it was darn near smoothering my zoas...3 weeks and 2 doses have past of the bioclean and all i have left is a little patch on my rocks on the left side and a tad left in the sand which is disappearing everyday... i have 5 astreas and 2 turbos that couldnt defeat this crap and it was even growing on the astreas shells...lol i went from cleaning my front and sides from everday to just 1 time a week now and i will continue to use it as long as my tank runs. so if you been battling hair algea and are about to give up like i was cuase nothing you read or tried worked you might take a look at bioclean
