mahi mahi boy
I've been feeding her frozen fish from wal-mart for a few days now. She eats it right up and today she's pretty thick. As it takes her a few minutes to engulf a piece(not a milkshake) 1/4 of her size, copepods swarm the meat. So I guess she's getting some fatty acids too. I'll get some mysis later this week, so is it alright to keep feeding the non native fish(still pacific) to her? (as long as she dosen't regurgitate) All Corynactis spp. feed on zooplankton and particulate organic matter. To keep them healthy and encourage division, they need to be fed at least several times per week. A "milkshake" of chopped seafood can be used, but they will also take flake or pelletized foods, and frozen shrimp or worms. caribbean species can be trained to open in the light by feeding it during daylight hours. The mechanism for its apparent memory is not known. Where is mine from, is it the caribbean species? tinyreef's link http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2002/invert.htm Thanks mahi Link to comment
