nano-reefer madness

I'm not sure if its an Aptasia sp. or not but i have had three of them in my 12 g for over a year now. They have an interesting habbit of "swimming" around the tank periodicaly. so far they havent reproduced more than most sp of anemone and seem harmless. i say keep it. there kinda cool

Looks like some cool red algae to me. It doesn't have the perfect radial symmetry that's usually associated with anemones (or coral polyps, for that matter).

Can you tell us anything about?

What does it feel like (No, I don't mean happy or sad, I mean what is it's texture)?

Have you offered it food?

Did it take any?

What is it's sign?

Does it move?

Does it appear to have a skeleton?

Does it emerge from a hole in the rock?

Can you take a pic of it with the lights off?

My guess at this point would be a colonial hydroid or something similar to a rock (flower) anemone. It is really hard to tell the animals structure from the pic.
