I have to tell everybody this: It is EXTREMELY important!!!

 

You HAVE to put a FTS on the FTS thread every other Sunday. The FTS thread will be made on January 25, 2010 when you are aloud to add rock, sand, water, and life.

 

If you do not follow the directions correctly on the FTS thread or you miss a FTS you will de DQ'd.

Well I started putting the tank together tonight. :scarry: I have the baffle in. :happydance: I dont think what I used has been done but I also havent been around saltwater forums in a few years.I hate giving my ideas away to soon and the contest hasnt even started yet.

lol that is definitely unique but not 100% original. tanks used to be made with slate bottoms instead of glass. that is also when tanks were metal framed lol.

My 250LBS. stash of Southdown sand from 8 years ago 4.85 a 80lb.bag. :D It has been setting next to my couch for the past 3 years because I couldnt get it upstairs to store it!

My rock that was bought 8 years ago for 2.50 lbs I have about 100lbs of this but here is the little piece form my collection.It was cleaned and dryed about 3 years ago.I gave it a good rinsing this morning to get it ready.

Ya I still have everything from when I took down my 220g reef execpt the tank ,stand oh and the livestock. :) It had a 6" sand bed.I still have more somewhere.

I can wait to get this little tank going!!!

mine is coming along nicely. i got 6lbs of small dead rock yesterday and the LFS said they were gonna try to order the sand i want for me.

Well I have the sump/fuge done,baserock is stacked and mounted,Dry sand is in,pump setup is done and plumbed,and have done a freshwater test.So it is time for the lighting now! Also need to work on the outside of the tank.
