Snail ID please

Very small (so couldn't get a great photo of it), conical shell, multiplying, and only see it on tank walls at night (when lights are off).

Yes! From the snail guru himself!

 

Do pheasant snails stay small tho? The shells do look similar. But these guys are tiny and multiplying pretty fast.

 

Looks like they are eating off the glass tho.

 

I also see tiny round white shelled snails. They look like tiny tegulas (I do have a dozen adult tegula snails as well). Can tegulas reproduce in the tank readily?

yep, they stay small. a good guy, it is a relative of the dwarf planaxis if I am not mistaken. I have some scurrying about in my tanks right now as a matter of fact. They eat film algae and probably diatoms. (Just never tested them with diatoms). I will check out which one you have, I used to remember the species name but 1am came around, and since then it has been a blur. :)

 

I am not familiar with tegulas, sorry, never owned them.
