I stabbed my trumpet!

Haha, so I just got coral order in this morning, and I have had everything settled for about an hour now...Moonlights just came on, and I was going in with the tweezers to shoo a snail away from a new plug when WHAM!

I stabbed my trumpet, i think I got it in between two mouths that just recently split into the beginning of 2 heads...I feel terrible, because even though it's the most inexpensive piece of coral in my tank(7 buck frag), but it was the first piece of coral I ever bought/owned...In all actuallity, it doesn't look terrible, yet...It just shrank up and said OWWWWWWWWWW!

I'm hoping I didn't do anything that will cause the piece to die, because it was growing sooo fast, and I was growing quite attached to it...

Here's a picture maybe 5-10 minutes after I stuck it...It's all shrunken and pissed off, but I got it right in between the two mouths on the top head, maybe a slight bit more into the right side...can't really tell...Just started thinking oh crap oh crap oh crap!!!!!

I dunno, I'm nopt turning on my 10,000k lights today, because I just got these new corals, but hopefully it'll swell up to it's usual grand self in the next couple days...

Yeah, I just feel bad for it...lol...I put it in the tank in December as one head with 2 mouths...

And it currently has 2 heads with 4 mouths, growing fast...I just hope it doesn't stunt it's growth too much.

OP:

You made it to the hall of fame

Woooooooooooot!

I'd like to start of by thanking all the little people, for without them none of this would have been possible.....

It ended up puffing back up last night, and looks to be ok...Phew! Cause I stabbed it pretty hard...Now as long as the tissue doesn't start to recede or die for the next couple days and I think I'm in the clear...Lights are off ATM, and sweepers are nicely deployed, so it's acting normal...Fingers crossed!!
